What is the mission of Cleaning for a Reason?

Cleaning for a Reason is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free home cleaning services to individuals undergoing cancer treatment. We understand that cancer brings overwhelming challenges, making everyday tasks like keeping a home clean feel impossible. That’s why we connect cancer patients with a trusted network of professional residential cleaners, dedicated industry volunteers, and compassionate community members who step up to help.

Why Would We Give Our Cleaning Services For Free?

There are millions of people who suffer from cancer every year. Many of them do not have the strength to even lift a mop, let alone clean their entire house. Petal Sweet Cleaning has joined Cleaning For A Reason to help clean houses for those undergoing treatment for cancer. A clean environment has been shown to positively affect a cancer patient’s recovery.

“We are called to do this work”, says Jesica Noftz of Petal Sweet Cleaning Services. “Cleaning For A Reason inspires me every time I see how this wonderful cause continues to grow and impacts the lives of those who are cleaning and those who receive the gift of cleaning.
